Comments for 'How much do you feel your appearance is the most important aspect of who you are? (Not at all.slightly, moderately, mostly, totally), Add your own opinion if you wish.'

  • im a good looking chap ;)

  • Would be an important aspect if a feature is on a large scale for example if someone is morbidly obesse

  • it is how people form first impressions

  • I like to lead by example, I'm a PT so if I look unhealthy how can I inspire my clients

  • Confidence

  • First impressions count.

  • It's not the most important, but I do care how I look

  • im proud of what i accomplished so far and is willing to keep improving and helping others

  • The first factor we're often judged on

Comments for 'When you see models in advertisement do they make you feel insecure about yourself? (Yes/No) If Yes, pleases state why? If No, pleases state why?'

  • because they're what we think we should look like

  • Makes me feel not good enough

  • Because the media advertises what people should look like, and makes people believe that body image is the most important thing about a person.

  • Because of how men see those models.

  • Because they're really pretty

  • Not necessary to conform to social ideals.

  • sometimes, not always

  • These are models, while some may be photoshopped they can also be used as otivation to get up and make some change

  • i'm not a model nor do I aspire to be one, my career does not depend on body image

  • Sometimes because they are so slim

  • Not so much fashion models, but with fitness ones because they look ridiculously cool, despite the photoshop and stuff.

  • They always have good bodies and are good looking, however I do know that they are heavily photoshopped

  • Because I will never look like them anyway

  • It's just airbrushing and make up, so it's real

  • Because I look just as good without photoshop

  • It's all about what you work for

  • I feel there skin is always flawless, I know it's not real but still makes me conscious

  • A little bit just makes me work harder to achieve my goals

  • No one is born perfect. As long as one work hard, one could achieve the body he/she want.

  • they r someone not in my daily life

  • Use it as motivation and have a goal that you want to reach rather than dwelling on it.

  • Because everyone's different, different genetics and levels of effort determine a persons physique, not the media.

  • Never satisfied

  • to compare myself with others is meaningless.

  • Yes I certainly compare myself to them

  • Because they're depicted as the ideal image to aspire to

  • why should a model be an example of what we should look like e.g a guy without no hair on his body is classed as a man in todays society

  • They don't make me feel insecure, but they do make me feel body conscious as they are perceived as 'perfect'

  • Sort of, they have the money and people to achieve their looks

  • i know i would never be able to look like them

  • not sure

  • Cos i'm a boss

  • because it makes you think that its normal, but in reality these models are not what most women look like

  • I see a difference between what's expected of me and models; it's their job to look good

  • I don't care what they look like

  • My appearance isn't something that worries me

  • they are too skinny and look unhealthy

  • Yes because I want to be as good looking and lean as the guy's being advertised
